Journalist Mark Guidi has cast doubt over whether Rangers striker Kemar Roofe be offered a contract extension to remain at Ibrox.

The Verdict: Time to cut their losses?
With Michael Beale likely to undertake an overhaul in the summer transfer window given Rangers currently sit nine points behind runaway leaders Celtic, Roofe could be one thatās cast aside given how little heās played, along with his inability to remain fit.
However, it might not be simple for him to be moved on because, contrary to what Guidi claimed, the Jamaicanās contract isnāt up at the end of the season, with him penning a four-year deal upon arrival (via Rangers), meaning his contract wonāt expire until the summer of 2024.
